Greer-Heard: Thoughts on Michael Holmes Session

Well, the dynamic from last night appears to be continuing: Ehrman observed that "we just don't know," while Wallace felt that we knew well enough, and could make determinations from probabilities.

I simply don't think Ehrman's taking the evidence far enough. We have so MUCH evidence that I think it's important to recognize that, while it's true "we just don't know," we CAN say something about the original text. We CAN say something about the reliability of the text we have.
